Artist Spotlight - Eric Goodman of Goodman Paint & Gaming

While Goodman Paint & Gaming (GP&G) was not established until January of 2018, Eric Goodman, the owner/artist behind the scenes has held a love for tabletop, role playing, and adventure games since a young child. Eric began his love for miniature painting when he first discovered Warhammer Fantasy Battle (4th Edition!) in approximately 1993. Over the 20+ years to come, he continued to develop and hone his skills while never losing his love for gaming.

Today, Eric utilizes his painting and modeling skills under the name Goodman Paint & Gaming to share his love for beautifully painted miniatures with the community, and to pass his passion for painting and gaming along to his two young sons. Unlike some other artists, Eric strives to enjoy painting each and every model, putting his self-developed, self-described "crisp yet grungy" style spin on them.

Armies on Parade 2018

Hello! This will be my first time participating in Armies on Parade, and also my first attempt at making a board. After reading a number of articles on the topic, here goes nothing! Dry fit: Weighting... (get it?) Spackle to smooth stuff out and add texture. Had to use a drywall knife to cut the Styrofoam because my foam cutter broke. :[ Sand after several coats of watered down glue. Sprayed with spray paint from Homedepot. The coats of glue did a good job of protecting the foam. Cork, some foam that came with a TV that looks like a bunker, and some 3D printed barrels from eBay. The bones are from a toy my kids got in a Wendy's kid's meal. Still playing with the layout. Diff angle. Name plate! Considering making them fight an incoming force. That is it for now. Will maybe put up more as things happen.
